Francisco Family 2013

            Dear family and friends,
For starters I would like to share with you five phrases that represent events from our year. They are in order of most impacting to least impacting; not necessarily in order of importance.

1-      Crawling baby.
2-      Walking baby (okay this one probably beat out the first one but it sounded better this way).
3-      Talking baby.
4-      Buying a home
5-      Getting a dog

And I thought life was busy when I just held her all day. Elizabeth is truly the love of our lives and we are pretty much obsessed with her (in a good "proud parent" way).  She is joyful and intelligent and full of love. We cannot imagine life without her. I really could write this entire letter about her alone (and you probably would mind) but I would like to share a few other things as well.
We did buy a house at the beginning of this year and we love it. It is close to both our parents' houses and in a quiet enjoyable neighborhood. We are very blessed to have it.
We did get a dog as well, mostly (more like exclusively) because I wanted one but Adam enjoys her as well. She is a golden retriever and her name is Lewa.
Aside from those major events our lives have been continuing on in peace and plenty. Adam works for a company called High Voltage and we are very blessed to have that job. He is into emergency preparedness and is often coming up with new ways to be self-reliant and prepared. This is something I completely support. He also has a blog about it and often writes useful and insightful posts.
I stay home with Elizabeth (Because I am the most spoiled person in the world) and occasionally do little side jobs (mostly for fun). I am really into music right now and am taking voice lessons (I seriously am the most spoiled person in the world). I am into writing as well and am working on a blog for that.
With everything that is changing life often feels like is a handful of sand, ever slipping from our fingers. We hope this letter finds each of you full of peace and joy. May all your days be merry and bright! We love you!

            Adam, Melissa, and Elizabeth
